How to take your retail shop online in 7 days (without a developer)

A retail shop can go online in 7 days by using a POS-integrated eCommerce platform instead of hiring an agency: your existing product catalog and stock push to the website automatically, online orders land inside your billing screen, and payments/shipping come pre-integrated.

Why agency websites fail shopkeepers

The traditional route — pay an agency ₹50,000–₹2 lakh, wait 2–3 months, then manually update stock on the website every evening — fails at the "manually update" step. The website drifts out of sync with the shelf, customers order what you don't have, and within six months the site is abandoned. The fix isn't a better website; it's a website that shares one inventory with the counter.

The 7-day path, step by step

  1. Days 1–2 — catalog push: your POS product master (names, prices, barcodes, photos) becomes the website catalog automatically. No re-entry.
  2. Days 3–4 — payments & delivery: Razorpay activates online payments; Shiprocket connects couriers for delivery. Both come pre-integrated on platforms like er4u.
  3. Days 5–7 — go live: domain connects, test order placed, and the order appears inside your billing screen like any counter sale.

What it costs

On er4u, the integrated website/app costs ₹30,100+GST for the first year (2GB server included) and ₹5,000+GST/year after. Already on WooCommerce or Shopify? Sync er4u with either for ₹8,000+GST/year, or go full omnichannel to Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra via Unicommerce for ₹12,000+GST/year. Details on the eCommerce page.

The one thing to verify before paying anyone

Ask: "If I sell the last piece at the counter, when does it disappear from the website?" If the answer isn't "instantly, automatically," you're buying the agency problem again. See the er4u sync live on a free demo — we'll sell a piece at the counter and show it vanish online.
